Post-campaign play / memory map

Threads

A reflective tabletop roleplaying game about returning to a retired character and asking: What did the world do when we stopped watching?

What next? / after the applause

The campaign ended, but the world did not.

Threads asks players to cast a nostalgic eye back to old campaigns, picking up on worlds where old characters have become legends, and the places they changed have kept on changing in their wake.

Play moves over months, years, or decades, building vignettes from the memories the people and places you touched on your rise to power, or your fall from grace.

The game is designed to be played solo, as an introspective journalling exercise, or as a group of friends reminiscing about a shared world.

Consult the tome, consult yourselves.

Notes can tell you what happened, but only the people around the table can say what it meant to them. The heart of Threads lives in the gap between the facts and the stories you kept telling after everyone went home.
